Unsere Geschichte

I’ve always wanted to help others—it was something that came naturally to me.

In the year 2000, I began supporting people in need not just by sending money for food, but by helping them in ways that would allow them to help themselves in the long term—toward independence. For example, people who didn’t have access to bank loans or family members who could support them.

I spoke with these individuals, and together we brainstormed ideas. I saved up little by little and gave them the money they needed to start small businesses in Nigeria—nothing big, but even a small kiosk can make a difference. It allowed them to sustain their lives independently, without needing to ask someone for help every month.

So from the beginning, the vision was clear: to help people help themselves.

I’ve held onto this idea over the years. For the past seven years, my younger brother Ayeni Omini and I have organized an initiative we call “Saviour Omini Outreach.” Through this project, we’ve been able to help many individuals directly:

  • An orphan is now in their third year of vocational training as an electrician.
  • Another has started working as a POS vendor.
  • We’ve helped widows open small secondhand shops.
  • And we’ve supported families who couldn’t afford school fees for their children.

In short: We help where help is truly needed—always with the goal of enabling independence. Because that is, and will always be, our vision.

In 2024, some friends joined us to create a platform for real change. What started as a small initiative has grown into an association with numerous projects, partners, and supporters. Our story is one of courage, commitment, and an unshakable belief in the power of community.
